Space Clown Smarter Than He Looks - Conserve Water

There is a world water crisis, no matter what anyone else might tell you. Often, governments and those in authority don’t wish to scare the masses into thinking that there’s some kind of a huge water problem. Cities, counties, states, and even national governments try to downplay the issues concerning droughts, or low water levels in their reservoirs, lakes, rivers, or in underground aquifers.

First of all, when there is a serious drought and there is a water shortage, and then a major announcement of that in the newspaper it slows down economic development, and companies coming into the area to provide jobs. It also slows down residential growth, which is often the lifeblood of any expanding suburban city. No one really wants to talk about the crisis until it becomes such a problem that is a severe issue.

Since droughts come and go, and the water supply fluctuates due to seasonal aspects and regional weather, it also makes sense not to cause too much of a concern among the citizens even when the water level gets low, because during the next rainy season the reservoirs might fill up again. Unfortunately, they also might not, which means water must be conserved.

Many countries throughout the world, on every continent experience real problems with the weather, and the amount of water they use. Additionally, we keep putting more humans on the earth complicating the process and making each subsequent future drought even more chaotic, even small ones turn into large ones.

Still, it was wonderful for this Space Clown, the individual that went up to the international space station to use that platform as a message to the world to conserve water. Using this opportunity to plug World water supplies was a very smart and a wise thing to do. Well beyond what you might expect a clown to do. Indeed, I hope we all listen to what he had to say; he is right on target.
